Lori Halloway

I have been involved for many years in family advocacy & support, mentoring siblings and did victim services crisis intervention for over 13yrs. Providing emotional support and referrals to victims and their families. Working with the Provincial Minister to improve services for those with disability benefits and have spoken at Aide Canada as a sibling. My family circumstances led me to managing three family estates in various legal capacities including executrix, trustee, commontee, estate administrator and other legal capacities.

I am a sibling caregiver to my autistic brother with early dementia having lost both my natural parents by the age of 18. Having navigated the system for many years and advocating for my brother while holding down a full-time career with three diplomas. Faced with family responsibilities at a young age and grieving made me a very resilient person which led me to wanting to serve my community and always helping out others.

I look forward to sharing in our journey’s with one another while supporting families to navigate the system.
