My name is Dona and I am the mom of a 19 year old who was diagnosed with FASD at age 6 and then also with Autism at age 16. My son has Tourette’s disorder,  intellectual disability, adhd, severe receptive language delay and processing disorder, generalized anxiety disorder plus many other disorders.

I am the local coordinator for Special Olympics and have been involved with them for approximately 12 years,  and I have spent many years advocating hard for my child’s needs. I also assist other parents in teaching them how to advocate effectively.  I’ve lived in Golden for approximately 35 years now and look forward to working with this team
