My name is Chris Deighton and I’ve lived and worked in Slocan for the last twenty plus years. I’m a father of three, and one of my greatest joys has been raising my son Kingsley, who has Down Syndrome. Finding connections in small communities can often be difficult especially when you’re dealing with all the complexities of raising children with unique needs. It would be great to connect with families and individuals and share our experiences and explore what our community has to offer!
